2013 is already proving to be a great year at the New York Academy of Art. The building reopened on January 2nd, leaving students almost a month to work, play, explore, and gear up before classes start again. For me, it was the perfect amount of time to visit museums, galleries, sketch and paint at a leisurely pace, and do activities that we likely won't have time to do once the semester begins. Enjoy a glimpse into the month of January at the Academy, including some amazing paintings that students created during their month of free time.
